Mira's 1st B-day Party!

Hello all,

We celebrated Mira's birthday a wee bit early. We had 25 of our closest adult friends and some of their kiddos come to help us celebrate, but really missed having our families here. :-( Mira had a great time. (Especially with our friend Steve, who I'm convinced is her favorite person in the world now.) All-in-all it was a great day. The "Mira-ritas" turned out great and the weather cooperated. Mira had her first (and potentially last) piece of sheet cake. She gobbled it up, but paid for it later. She woke up screaming at 1:00 AM with a major tummy-ache.

Today, we woke up early to get her ready for her 1st B-day photos. She was pretty happy throughout, so I think it was a success. Can't wait to see how they turned out. Then this afternoon, we Skyped with Auntie Amy.

Mira's New House

Amie and I bought a new house in our same (favorite) neighborhood. This is where Mira will spend the next 17 or so years of her life. We're having lots of work done, and we should be able to move in around late April. Here are some "before" pics.
